Litográfusként indult a szakmai pályafutásom, ami gyakorlatilag a biztos szabad kézi rajzolás magasiskolája.  Később a reklámgrafikusi pályán találtam magam. Közben az Iparművészeti Főiskolán a Haiman György indította első évfolyamos felsőfokú tipográfus képzőjének No. 001-es diplomáját kaptam meg. A főiskolán a legendás Nagy Zoltán betűtervező tanítványaként már saját tervezésű digitalizált betűtípusaimmal készítettem első könyvritkaságnak számító könyvemet.

A festészet már 16 évesen magával ragadott és azóta sem engedett el. Első munkáimat visszanézve döbbenetes hasonlóságot mutatnak a maiakkal, mintha nem is fejlődtem  volna tovább. Pedig most 76 évesen irigylésre méltónak tart a szakma, ugyanis megvalósítottam minden festő álmát:  jellegzetes egyéni figuráimmal, ecsetkezelésemmel senkihez nem hasonlíthatóvá váltam.

Örök kedvencem a szürrealizmus, mert nem az objektív valóságot mutatja, hanem a festő szubjektivitását. Amióta csak festészettel foglalkozhatom folyamatosan katalogizálom korábbi alkotásaimat melyeknek száma ezres nagyságrendű. Itt nem csupán egy válogatást láthat az életműből a kedves nézelődő, hanem dialógusok formájában kapcsolatba is kerülhet velem.

Ich startete meine fachlichen Laufbahn als Lithograf. Ein Beruf, der allgemein als die hohe Schule der sicheren Handzeichnung angesehen wird. Spaeter sattelte ich auf Reklamgraphik um. Inzwischen hatte die Hochschule für Design unter der Leitung von György Haiman  eine neue Disziplin: Typographie eingeführt, und ich absolvierte das Studium als erster, mit dem Diplom Nr. 001. Hier war ich Schüler des legendaeren Typographen Zoltán Nagy, dem ich anlaesslich dessen 70. Geburtstag ein Buch mit meinen eigens dafür entworfenen digitalisierten Buchstaben widmete. Das Buch ist heute Sammlerobjekt. Die Malerei hat mich schon im Alter von 16 Jahren ergriffen, und nie mehr losgelassen. Wenn ich heute meine damaligen Bilder ansehe, muss ich feststellen, dass sie,  verglichen mit den heutigen eine verblüffenden Aehnlichkeit zeigen. Als haette ich mich erst gar nicht weiterentwickelt. Und  heute haelt mich, den 76-jaehrigen, die Künstlerwelt gerade darum beneidenswert, weil ich den Traum so vieler Maler verwirklichen konnte: durch meine originellen Figuren, meine Pinseltechnik unverwechselbar geworden bin. Meine ewige Liebe gilt dem Surrealismus weil das nicht die Objektivitaet, sondern die Subjektivitaet des Malers zeigt. Seitdem ich male katalogisiere ununterbrochen mein Schaffen, das heute in die Tausende geht. Diesmal kann der lieber Leser nur eine Auswahl als Kostprobe haben, aber wenn Ihrerseits ein Wunsch besteht, jederzeit bin ich zu einem Dialog bereit

26-06-1946 at 6 a.m. is the most important data about my birth…My professional career began as a lithographer, which is practically the high school of freehand drawing. Later I found myself in the field of advertising graphics. In the meantime, I received the diploma No. 0001 of the first-year advanced typographer’s training program started by György Haiman at the College of Applied Arts. As a student of the legendary type designer Zoltán Nagy at college, I already created my first rare book for my Master’s 70th birthday with my own digitalized typefaces. Painting captivated me at the age of 16 and has not let go since then. Looking back at my first works, they show a striking similarity with the ones of today, as if I had not developed any further. Even now, at the age of 76, the profession considers me enviable, because I have realized the dream of every painter: with my characteristic individual figures and brushwork, I have become incomparable to anyone else. My eternal favorite is surrealism, because it does not show the objective reality, but the subjectivity of the painter. Since I can only deal with painting, I have been constantly cataloging my previous works, the number of which is in the order of thousands. Here, the dear viewer can not only see a selection from his oeuvre, but can also interact with me in the form of dialogues.

Ma carrière professionnelle a démarrée quand j’étais litographe, ce qui est au fait le nec plus ultra du dessin à main levée. Plus tard je me suit retrouvé en tant que dessinateur publicitaire. Entretemps j’ai entammé les cours supérieurs N° 001 formation de typographes, ouverts par M. György HAIMAN aux Arts et Métiers, dont je me suis vu décerner le diplôme. A cette grande école j’étais l’élève du légendaire M. Zoltán NAGY, créateur des caractères, j’ai pu déssiner mes propres caractères numérisés, ce qui m’a permis de créer mon premier livre, un rarité de nos jours, devant célebrer le 70^ème anniversaire de mon Maître. La peinture m’a saisi dès l’âge de 16 ans, et ne me lache pas depuis. En jettant un regard vers l’arrière et en comparant mes premierès œuvres avec celles plus récentes, je constate des similitudes étonnantes, comme si le temps d’était arrêté. Or même de nos jours, à l’âge de 76 je suis jalousé par la profession, puisque j’ai réalisé le rêve de tous les peintres : de par mes figures caractéristiques et par mon coup de pinceau je suis devenu incomparable. Mon style éternellement préféré est le surréalisme, qui nous montre non pas la réalité objective, mais la subjectivité du peintre. Depuis les premiers tableaux j’établis le catalogue de mes œuvres, dont le nombre est de l’ordre de grandeur de mille. Je présente ici non seulement un échantillonage de mon œuvre, car le spectateur aura aussi l’occasion d’y mener un dialogue avec moi  

Ho iniziato la mia carriera professionale come litografo, che è praticamente la scuola superiore di disegno sicuro a mano libera.  In seguito mi sono trovato nel campo della grafica pubblicitaria. Nel frattempo, ho conseguito il diploma n. 001 al primo anno del corso di diploma superiore in tipografia presso l’Accademia di Arte Applicata, iniziato da György Haiman. All’Università, come studente del leggendario type designer Zoltán Nagy, ho prodotto il mio primo libro, una rarità libraria, con i miei caratteri tipografici digitali, per il 70° compleanno del mio maestro. Avevo 16 anni quando la pittura m’incantó, e da allora non mi ha più abbandonato. Riguardando i miei primi lavori, essi hanno una stupefacente somiglianza con quelli attuali, come se non mi fossi evoluto piú. Eppure ora, all’età di 76 anni, sono l’invidia della branca artistica, perché ho realizzato il sogno di ogni pittore: con le mie figure individuali distintive e la mia pennellata, sono diventato non paragonabile a nessun altro. Il surrealismo è il mio eterno preferito perché non rispecchia la realtà oggettiva, ma la soggettività del pittore. Da quando ho iniziato a dipingere, sto continuamente catalogando le mie opere precedenti, che sono migliaia. Qui il gentile spettatore non solo può vedere una selezione della mia oeuvre, ma può anche interagire con me sotto forma di dialogo.

Mi carrera profesional empezó como litógrafo, que es prácticamente la
escuela secundaria del dibujo a mano alzada. Posteriormente me encontré
en el campo de la gráfica publicitaria. Entre tanto, recibí el diploma
número 0001 en el programa de la formación de tipógrafo avanzado del
primer año, iniciado por György Haiman en la Facultad de Artes
Aplicadas.

Ya, como alumno del legendario diseñador tipográfico Zoltán Nagy en la
universidad, edité mi primer libro curioso para el 70 cumpleaños de mi
maestro con mis propios tipos de letras digitalizados. La pintura me
engancho a los 16 años y desde entonces no me ha soltado. Mirando hacia
atrás, mis primeros trabajos muestran una sorprendente similitud con
los de hoy, como si yo no hubiera evolucionado más.

Incluso ahora, a mis 76 años, la profesión me considera envidiable,
porque he realizado el sueño de todos los pintores; con mis
características figuras individuales y mi pincelada, me he vuelto
incomparable con cualquier otra artista. Mi favorito de siempre es el
surrealismo, porque no muestra la realidad objetiva, sino la
subjetividad del pintor. Como sólo me dedico a la pintura, he estado
catalogando constantemente mis trabajos anteriores, cuyos números
llegan hasta miles. Aquí, querido espectador no sólo puedes ver una
selección de mis obras, sino también puedes interactuar conmigo en
forma de diálogos.
